BARCELONA AS AN ELECTRONIC MUSIC cREATIVE HUB

OFFBCN has become an economic driver for pioneering cultural initiatives, showcasing Barcelona’s local talent by integrating artists, creators, and collectives into the festival with several stages dedicated to local creation. It fosters the local scene ecosystem, boosts the music sector’s economic development, and builds an emotional connection with the local audience in its connections with the Elements 4 Dance city projects such as 78/33 and 24LAB.

GIVE BACK TO SOCIETY

The festival pioneered maintaining a direct line of communication with the neighbours of Fòrum to monitor the acoustic impact generated by implementing “echo-barriers” and using advanced acoustic systems to ensure high-quality sound with minimal impact on the neighbourhood.

OFFBCN is committed to giving back to Sant Adrià through social inclusion initiatives, such as offering job opportunities and behind-the-scenes experiences for disadvantaged groups.

SUSTAINABILITY

Dedicated to sustainability, the festival minimizes CO2 emissions by connecting to the Parc del Fòrum’s electric grid, while also focusing on waste reduction with recycling, biodegradable materials, and reusable items.
